In 2014 Pennard Stores stepped in to save the village post office from closing down the road.

The shop had a little refit to make way for the Post office counter and all its stamps!!! It is now truly bedded into our business like it’s always been here.....it adds even more of a village feel to our shop.

With the post office being open longer hours, the queues are less and more spread out, you can nip in before or after work. If there is a queue on the odd occasion, its often nice to have a catch up with someone you haven’t seen for a while!

So all in all it’s an added bonus for everyone and keeps the tradition of the Post Office still going strong..... keep those parcels coming.....
